  • Peak rating and duration: a surge number without a stated duration is difficult to compare for motor loads.
  • Battery chemistry and warranty language: look for the manufacturer’s stated cycle and storage guidance rather than assuming all lithium batteries behave the same.
  • Output mix: confirm the number and type of AC outlets, USB-C PD rating, USB-A, 12V and any regulated DC output you need.
  • Recharge options: compare wall, vehicle and solar input limits; a solar input is not the same as a bundled panel or guaranteed recharge speed.
  • Operating limits: read temperature, altitude, moisture, fan and pass-through charging notes before planning a critical load.
  • Safety path: never improvise a home connection or backfeed a panel. A transfer setup belongs to a qualified electrician and the manufacturer’s approved equipment.

Does 1000W mean the station lasts 10 hours?
No. Runtime depends on watt-hours and load. A 1,000W output rating is a power ceiling; it is not a 1,000 Wh battery rating.
